Was a lovely evening for the BYC beer can races in Newport Harbor.  Wind pretty much out of the west so most boats had to throw in a few tacks to make the weather mark.  Note:  Anyone looking for a good 55' mast, boom and Harken roller furling system let me know.  I'm helping a friend sell it. Pretty sure it was stepped on deck. Owner motivated to find it a new home ???  Double spreaders, may have been set up for in mast furling??  Boom set up for loose footed mainsail?  Pics and more specs to anyone interested.  Harken furling system appears excellent, foils hack sawed off so some adaption will be necessary...We stepped off the length so it's between 55 and 60 feet...
